An exhibition of early 19th century illustrations of Ġgantija Temples is on show at the Citadel in Victoria.

The exhibition, set up by Heritage Malta (Gozo), incorporates a selection of drawings, watercolours and prints of different views of Ġgantija Temples dating to the first half of the 19th century, most of which were possibly done as souvenir works for a thriving market.

A new Heritage Malta publication, entitled The Ġgantija Temples: a history of its visitors and views, was launched to coincide with the exhibition. It is available from all Heritage Malta sites.

The exhibition is open until Saturday. Opening times are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
