Rex in Malta on Rai this Tuesday

The episode of Rex – titled La Maledizione di Caravaggio – that was shot in Malta in 2009 will be screened on Rai 1 next Tuesday at 9 p.m.

The cast includes Kaspar Capparoni and Fabio Ferri and the episode will also feature a number of Maltese actors. This episode was scripted specifically with a Malta-based story.

The filming, by Leader Productions, was supported by the film unit within the Marketing Directorate of the Malta Tourism Authority.

The series, previously known as Il Commissario Rex, has a large audience in over 100 countries worldwide, 20 of which are European countries including Italy, Germany and Spain. The episode has already been screened in a number of countries.

@ Peter Murray....I dont think Rex had anytime for the beach while he was here.....Remember it says the film was shot here in 2009 not 2011 when the law regarding the non-allowance of dogs on beaches has been enforced....So no worries about that, he certainly was as good as gold and had his 'hands' full or should I saw 'paws' full with all the stunts he had to do! Even if he did, he is a very well trained and obedient dog and would have certainly made the canine species proud which is more than I can say for us 'human beings' when we visit beaches! Teresa Ann Miller (Rex's dog trainer) did a brilliant job with him! Well done ;)

If one states any given day preceeding such a day provided and after that given day in the previous week(even one day before) as being "this" particluar day it is ALWAYS taken to mean as "the next" or immediately forthcoming given day.Hope that helps Marisa?
