First/Business Class passengers or PhoenixMiles Platinum and Gold members flying from Vancouver, European cities and Australia to Beijing on flights operated by Air China qualify for access to the airline’s around-the-clock arrival lounges at T3 of Beijing.
An airline spokesman said that passengers can stay there for a good rest for up to three hours. Amenities in the lounges include shower, internet access, printer and drinks – all for free.
Air China is China’s only national flag carrier and a Star Alliance member. In addition to commercial operations, it also provides special flight services for the country’s state leaders on official visit to other countries.
PhoenixMiles is the airline’s frequent flyer programme that allows loyal customers to accrue mileage and request awards in its worldwide system.
“By our innovation and quality service, we have won numerous accolades of the industry,” said the spokesman.
In December of 2010, Air China was honoured one of the Top 500 brands by the World Brand Lab with brand value and the carrier has been ranked among the world’s most respected companies for years on end.
Air China was voted as one of the “top 60 Most Influential Brands of the Republic”, and the award fully reflects Air China’s outstanding contributions to the country’s economic growth and the well-being communities in the past six decades.
