BORG. On July 9, PHYLLIS, née Bartolo Parnis, aged 91, widow of Col. C.L. Borg, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Anne and her husband Victor, Norman and Marcel, Rosalind and her husband Michael, Christopher, Mark and his wife Lisa, her grandchildren Vanessa, Cheryl, Lukan, Jacob, Marcus and Charlotte, her great-grandson Luke, her brother Anthony and his wife Pat, Marievan and other in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves San Ġorġ Preca residential home, Attard, tomorrow at 8.45 a.m. for St Julians parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.15 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. May Our Lord grant her eternal rest.
CALLEJA. On July 11, MARIJA INEZ, from Ħamrun and residing in Sliema, passed away peacefully at St Vincent De Paul Residence, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, aged 91. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Doris and her husband Salvinu, Yvonne and her husband Robert, Manuel and his wife Marion, of Australia, Margaret and her husband Dione, Maria and her husband Michael of the UK, her sister Rose, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent De Paul Residence tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for the chapel of Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment in the family chapel at the same cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
