Allow me to refer to the letter titled Inside Valletta’s Walls (June 6) in which Robert Jones urged the authorities to move the Triton Fountain, designed by Vincent Apap, inaugurated on May 16, 1959, only “a few metres away” in order, always according to himself, “to honour” artist Apap. I would like to point out that the Floriana local council is against playing musical chairs with national monuments.
