• The feast of Our Lady of Succour at Kerċem is being celebrated today. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead a pontifical Mass, with the participation of the Orchestra Stella Maris and the St Gregory choir, at 9 a.m. The Maria Mater Gratie Band of Żabbar will play marches along the main streets at 11 a.m. The procession will be held at 7.45 p.m. The St Gregory band of Kerċem, the Mnarja and Ite ad Joseph bands will take part.
• The Gozo CCU Foundation will present its Under the Stars concert at Ta’ Frenċ today at 7.30 p.m. Tickets cost €40 per person, including a five-course dinner and half a bottle of wine. • A blood donation session will be held at the Gozo General Hospital today between 8.30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
• Otters ASC be launching its annual swimming and waterpolo school at its premises in Marsalforn Bay on Thursday at 4 p.m. Those interested are to register at the club on Thursday.
• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will be holding a prayer evening at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, Ta’ Ħamet, on Saturday at 8.30 p.m., followed by Mass at midnight.
• ‘Textures of Gozo’, a photographic exhibition by Peter Christopher, is on show at the Banca Giuratale, Victoria, until July 23. It is open on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. and at weekends between 9 a.m. and noon.

• Ta’ Ħamet church will celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on Friday. The church rector Mgr Carmelo Hili will say Mass at 6 a.m. The church will be open for adoration between 5.30 and 7.30 p.m., followed by a concelebrated Mass by Mgr Grech and a pilgrimage with the statue of Our Lady.
• The feast of St George will be celebrated in Victoria next Sunday. Religious and outdoor festivities will open today and continue throughout the week, reaching their climax on Saturday and next Sunday.
