Alternative look at tourism

Two presentations – ‘Exploring the socio-cultural framework for social tourism in Gozo and Malta” by Marjan Moris and Jori Decoster and ‘Gozitan taxi drivers as cultural brokers’ by Vicky Steylaerts (all from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium) will be presented at the Circolo Gozitano, 6, Sir Adrian Dingli Street, Victoria, on Tuesday at8 p.m. and lasting about 90minutes.

The papers, the result of anthropological fieldwork carried out by students and academic staff over the past five years, were originally presented during the second Island Dynamics Conference in Valletta last May.

After the activity participants are invited to continue with the discussion over dinner at Maji in Victoria. For booking call 9945 6851.
