Gazzi: Fiorentina are favourites to sign Bari midfielder Alessandro Gazzi for a reported fee of €3m. Having released Marco Donadel, Mario Alberto Santana and possibly Riccardo Montolivo, Fiorentina are looking to add more options to coach Sinisa Mihajlovic’s midfield department and according to media reports Fiorentina will beat the challenge of Atalanta and Torino for Gazzi’s signature.

Johnson: Norwich have signed Bradley Johnson after the mid-fielder’s contract at Leeds expired. The 24-year-old former North-ampton player has agreed a three-year deal at Carrow Road.

Yacob: Udinese have placed a €6m offer for Racing Avellaneda’s Claudio Yacob. The northeast-erners are looking to unearth another talent, following the one of Alexis Sanchez, and set their sights on the Argentine midfielder, rated by his club at €8m. Yacob, 23, has also been linked with Palermo and Catania.

Soriano: Swansea City are on the verge of signing Barcelona B striker Jonathan Soriano. The Swans have refused to reveal the identity of their latest target, but have confirmed that a deal is imminent. Soriano, 25, was the top-scorer in Spain’s second tier last term with 26 goals, also attracting interest from England’s Wigan Athletic.

Sarabia: Real Madrid have - the sale of Pablo Sarabia to Getafe. The 19-year-old midfielder, a Spain youth international, has agreed a five-year contract with Getafe. However, Real Madrid have confirmed the deal includes a buy-back option for the highly regarded youngster who found his progress blocked at the Bernabeu stadium.

Bojinov: Parma striker Valeri Bojinov could be heading out of the Serie A as his agent confirmed he was in talks with Sporting Lisbon for a possible move. Boji-nov, 25, is thought to be in favour of the move. “I can confirm Sporting are one of the sides who are very interested in Bojinov. They are in negotiations for a possible transfer,” Gennaro Palomba said.
