Mcast’s 2011/2012 prospectus contains details on the 155 full-time courses, including new vocational degrees, being offered by the college’s various institutes in the forthcoming academic year.

Students who have completed secondary education (Form 5) may collect a copy from their local council and the college’s institutes, or may access it from the website www.mcast.edu.mt.

Adult learners (aged 21 and over) are also encouraged to take up a full-time course at Mcast under the maturity clause. The prospectus provides details on how such students can apply.

Information talks for prospective students and their parents will be held between tomorrow and Friday regarding the courses being offered by the college’s various institutes. For details on these talks, go to www.mcast.edu.mt/infotalks.

The college’s Inclusive Education Unit will also be meeting prospective students with disabilities or learning difficulties to discuss their specific requirements before applying for a course.

Mcast’s Career Guidance and Counselling Services’ counsellors will be available to all prospective students without the need of an appointment, from July 11 to 22, between 8.30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Applications are to be submitted between July 25 and 28.

The college’s 10 institutes and the Gozo Centre will be receiving applications for their respective courses on the following dates, between 8.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.:

On July 25 for applicants whose surname starts with the letters A and B; on July 26 for those whose surname starts with the letters C to F; on July 27 for those whose surname starts with the letters G to P; and on July 28 for those whose surname starts with the letters Q to Z.

Applicants who cannot submit their application on these dates will have a last chance to submit their application on July 29, between 8.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.

Applicants who live in Gozo and wish to apply for a course in any of Malta’s institutes will be able to present their application at Mcast’s Gozo Centre in Xagħra.

Applicants who will be abroad during the registration period will be able to submit their applications before, on presentation of their airline ticket.
