500 migrants arrive in Lampedusa

Just over 500 migrants have arrived on the Italian island of Lampedusa on two boats.

The Italian media said 225 migrants were on a boat which arrived early this morning. Among them were 30 women and 12 children.

The rest, including 19 women and five children, were on a second boat intercepted by the Italian coastguard.

Dont be envious. Malta will be getting another 3000 by the end of july
