Helen Wallis Award for Albert Ganado

Albert Ganado was unanimously selected as the 2011 recipient for the Helen Wallis Award in recognition for his cartographic contribution by the award’s international map collectors’ society (IMCoS) sub-committee.

The society, which has over 2,000 international members, comprises of academics, institutions such as libraries and museums, map dealers and collectors all sharing a common love for the study and collection of maps. 

The award was presented to Dr Ganado during the IMCoS annual dinner at the East India Club in London.
