€100 stolen in Hamrun hold-up

Some €100 in cash were stolen this afternoon from a stationery shop in Parish Priest Valletta Street, Hamrun.

The police said a person walked in and after some time told the young woman behind the counter to hand him cash. At that time she noted that he was armed with a knife.

The thief ran off with some €100.

No one was injured.
