Revellers carrying an inflatable mattress through the mud at the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset. Rain-hardy revellers were descending on a 900-acre farm yesterday for the start of Glastonbury – Britain’s biggest and best-loved music festival. Wellies and waterproofs were essential attire as revellers arrived at Worthy Farm. The headlining acts this year are Beyonce, Coldplay and U2.
