Former policeman admits to possession of ecstasy
A 25-year-old former policeman was this morning put on a three-year probationary period after he admitted to the possession of ecstasy.
Magistrate Marsanne Farrugia put Roderick Vella of Luqa on probation because he cooperated with the police and expressed a desire to reform himself.

I think the judiciary need to educate themselves about certain types of drugs
Tobacco and alcohol are far more harmful than ecstasy! FACT

would be relevant to clarify whether
he was a policeman when he was in possession of ecstasy and then 'resigned', or,
whether the crime was committed after he left the police 'force'....
guess it is in everyone's interest to gauge the recruitment and 'monitoring' capabilities of those entrusted with managing the police - after all this is not some private company.
