The Island Hotels Group said today that it made a net loss of €2,045,219 for the six months which ended at the end of April, the low period of its trading cycle.

The group made a net loss of  €2,175,817 in the same period last year. It said it achieved a turnover of €10,599,392 (2010 €10,493,675)

The group said that trading conditions were very similar to the ones prevailing last year. The overall expectation for the rest of the financial year is that there will be no dramatic changes to the trading patterns registered last year.
