The presence of the urn holding some bones of the holy St Philip was a great attraction at the recently held festivities of the patron saint of Żebbuġ.

Thanks to the Żebbuġ local council for their hard work and connections with their Sicilian counterpart, this was a unique event: for the first time the urn left its native Sicily.

This was greatly appreciated by the Żebbuġ parishioners and the many Maltese who attended the celebrations.
