On June 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, EMILY née Chircop, aged 82, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church, in the presence of her beloved husband Louis, her darling son Leon, relatives and members of the Marana Tha’ Community. Her loss will be treasured by her dear sisters Sr Carmela SJA, Georgina, Doris Amodio, her brother Alfred and his wife Line, in-laws Doris and Maria Abdilla, Alfie and Connie Camilleri, Edwin Lauri widower of her sister Mary, nephews and nieces, and her aunt Emma Martin. FENECH – On June 18, at his residence in Ħamrun, EUGENIO, aged 48, Ex-PC 5, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Acoustic sessions
The Point Acoustic Sessions in aid of YMCA, which started on June 11 with jazzy summer tunes by Ivan Borg on the saxophone and fellow musicians, will be held every fortnight throughout the summer.
