Ryanair has warned jobseekers about a ‘Ryanair jobs’ e-mail scam which tries to dupe people into paying for visa applications in order to apply for a job with Ryanair.

Ryanair has reported the scam to the authorities in the UK and Ireland.

Ryanair also advised those people receiving an e-mail from career@ryanaironline.com not to reply.

The low-cost airline will require up to 1,500 additional pilots and cabin crew this year. The majority of these jobs will be filled by those who train with one of Ryanair’s approved recruitment partners, which are listed on www.ryanair.com/ie/careers/job.

The airline’s Stephen McNamara said: “Ryanair condemns these illegal recruitment scams which prey on eager job hunters who are keen to secure a well paid career in aviation.”
