Tourists visit the Mario Filho Stadium, better known as the Maracana, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, yesterday. On the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the legendary football ground, the visit of the premises was authorised for local football followers and visitors alike to be able to see refurbishment works currently being carried out ahead of the FIFA World Cup in 2014 and the 2016 Olympic Games.
