Remax Malta recently hosted Remax Europe’s regional director meeting at the Hilton Malta, featuring the co-founder of Remax Canada and Europe Walter Schneider as main speaker.
Remax Europe regional director meetings are held four times a year and are intended to update European regional owners on the state of the network and the real estate markets around Europe.
Over 60 delegates attended, representing more than 35 countries. Also present was a delegate representing Remax International, Larry Oberly, vice-president of International Development, and top management representatives of Remax Europe: Michael Polzler, managing director, Walter Schneider, president and Frank Polzler, chairman.
In the opening address, Mr Polzler said Remax was currently opening two offices per day in Europe and out-lined the company’s vision to reach over 28,000 sales associates that will operate from 2,500 offices by 2014.
The meeting also included a workshop on social media marketing, best practices from top regions, a presentation from the founders and an update from Remax International. Remax Paraguay and Remax Suriname were the latest two countries to open offices. There was a staggering growth in the region of Brazil, where 140 offices were opened in just over six months.
During the closing evening, Remax Malta hosted over 120 prospective real estate agents to ‘60 minutes with Remax’, an open-to-all introduction to real estate, where Mr Schneider told the group “if we can fill this room with 120 people, that explains the continuous growth of Remax Malta”.
