The Nationalist Party will in the coming months conduct an internal exercise to revise its policies on education, employment, health and the environment, all of which are important issues for Maltese families, Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi was quoted as saying at a meeting with PN delegates this morning.

The PN in a statement quoted Dr Gonzi as saying that this review was needed to continue to update PN policy according to current reality.

"We need to give families solutions, and that is what I intend to continue to do," Dr Gonzi said.

On the referendum, Dr Gonzi reiterated that the PN would ensure that the will of the people was reflected in Parliament.

Dr Gonzi made his comments at a workshop for party delegates as part of the PN General Council meeting. The council meetings closes tomorrow.
