Kempinski San Lawrenz Hotel has been given a gold award by Travelife. The Travelife certification is an internationally recognised award scheme for hotels and other tourism related business which have attained high standards of environmental management.

The initiative was developed by the British Federation of Tour Operators which merged with The Travel Association and the Dutch Federation of Tour Operators. It is supported by the Association of Belgium Tour Operators and the German Forum Anders Reisen. Travelife has been set up to support efficient and cost effective sustainability principles, and aims to increase the quality of travel products, customer satisfaction and the quality of life in the holiday destinations.
