Cellist Julian Lloyd Webber has become a father for the second time at the age of 60, his spokesman said yesterday.

The brother of musical mogul Andrew Lloyd Webber said he was “delighted” at the arrival of his daughter.

Mr Lloyd Webber’s wife, fellow cellist Jiaxin Cheng, gave birth shortly after midday to Jasmine Orienta.

He said: “Her second name reflects both her Chinese heritage and my fervent hope that one day she will support Leyton Orient.”

Mr Lloyd Webber already has a son, David, by his ex-wife Zohra Mahmoud Ghazi.
