Antigua, Barbuda tourism rising

The Ministry of Tourism of Antigua and Barbuda said it is fairly optimistic about the prospects for increased visitor arrivals to Antigua. Authorities are projecting an increase in air capacity and airlift options from the US and Canada.

According to a statistics recently released by the Ministry of Tourism, the seat capacity from major US gateways is expected to increase by 15 per cent this year, building on a steady increase of 10 per cent in 2010 and eight per cent in 2009.
