Pedro Marcos, from Spanish club Caja Granada, will conduct a six-week training camp at the Table Tennis Academy Malta next month.
Marcos is the head coach at European Cup winners Caja Granada whose team includes world no.8 Vladimir Samsonov.
In his coaching career, Marcos was also in charge of Swedish club Herrljunga besides a host of other top teams in Spain. He has also nurtured the talent of top stars Roberto Gardos and Oleksandr Didukh, of Austria, making him one of the best ever coaches to visit our islands.
The training programme is over nine weeks, giving Maltese players a perfect opportunity to learn and further improve their game skills.
The training sessions, held in morning and evening seven days a week, will also be attended by fitness coach Jesus Alvarez, of Spain. He will be taking charge of coordination and velocity training.
Registrations are open and further details are available from the academy website www.tabletennisacademy.com.
