BONELLO. On June 10, JOAN, aged 90, widow of Godfrey, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Stephanie and her husband George Fenton, her son John and his wife Karin, her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters and their spouses and her in-laws, the rest of the family and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.30 a.m. for St Julian’s parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.15 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

VELLA. On June 12, at the Sisters of Charity house at Balzan, Sr VITTORIA VELLA (Carmela), aged 86, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the congregation of the Sisters of Charity, her brother, sister and all nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at the sisters’ convent at 55, Birbal Street, Balzan, today at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

In Memoriam

ABELA – CARMEN, 13.6.2007. Today the fourth anniversary of her demise. Fondly remembered by her children Mary Axisa and her husband Alex, Fr Joe Abela, her daughter-in-law Carmen, Monica Smith and her husband Mark, Therese, Carmel and his wife Tania, and grandchildren Robert and Christian, Maria-Tereza and Armand, Alexander and Elisa-Marie, Matthew and Shanice.

GINGELL LITTLEJOHN – AIDA. Loving memories of a dear mother and grandmother, today being the 19th anniversary of her demise. Never forgotten by her children, in-laws, grandchildren. Mass being said today at 9 a.m. at St Patrick’s church, Sliema, will be offered for the repose of her soul. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.

MUSCAT – ROŻINA. Cherished memories of a dear mother and grandmother on the 13th anniversary of her demise. Always in our thoughts and prayers. Deeply missed by Lina, Frank and Maryanne, in-laws, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
