Chinese courses at University

The University’s Confucius Institute is introducing a five-day Chinese summer camp for children and teenagers aged between five and 15.

Sessions start in July. Parents are welcome to accompany their child-ren and take part in the sessions.

The institute also offers various other introductory courses in Chinese language and culture for the public, from beginners to higher levels.

‘Chinese for children’ consists of eight hours of teaching, while the evening courses consist of 12 hours of teaching, spread over an eight-week period: Elementary Chinese language, levels 1 and 2, Business Chinese level 1, Chinese for travellers, Chinese culture, Chinese arts and crafts, and Chinese calligraphy.

These courses are offered all year round, between 6 and 7.30 p.m.

The institute’s two-year part-time evening diploma course in Chinese will again be on offer in October.
