Danish planes running out of bombs

The Danish military forces operating in Libya are running out of bombs for their F-16 fighter jets and have asked The Netherlands to help replenish their stock, a report said yesterday.

“The Danish F-16s are about to run out of bombs to continue to attack Libya,” the Politiken daily said, citing unnamed defence sources.

“The Danish military has therefore asked Holland for help,” it added.

A spokesman for the Danish military’s logistics division did not confirm the report but said his department was speaking to other coalition partners about supplies.

“It is our job to always support operations in the short, medium and long-term and we always have a close cooperation with our F-16 partnership countries, in particular Norway and the Netherlands,' Anders Paaskesen of the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation said.

Denmark was one of the first countries to offer air assets for the international air campaign to protect Libyan civilians from Col Gaddafi’s forces.

I wonder how loud you would shout if Gaddafi decided in his usual eloquent way to invade Malta? would you be screaming so loud then? clearly with such a short memory you have forgotten Lockerbie and the slaughter of innocents? And you seem also to forget the rape and murder of the people of Lybia on Mummars orders, and of course lets forget the mercinaries he hired to kill his own people. i Met a Maltese who worked in Lybia and he felt disgusted by the way ordinary people scraped a living while the Elite lived like kings..
And when does your history of Cyprus start?? 1963 or the more popular 1974.. you are of course aware that Cyprus was never a Greek island at any time in history or that Greece refused on two occasions to accept the island.Greece also invaded Cyprus and overthrew its elected government... it is a very twisted history of that island...

@Ursula Riches
And what about Mis(u)rata, Benghazi and other towns and villages bombarded day and night by Gaddafi's brutal armed forces?
What about the thousands of unarmed civilians, including women and children, killed or maimed by the Libyan regime's fire power?!
What about those hundreds of women gang raped by Gaddafi's brutish soldiers as proven lately?!
Are you so biased as to forget all about these crimes against humanity?!
Can you imagine a worse regime than that of Gaddafi who sent armoured tanks, warplanes, mine-layers, and made use of missiles, grad rockets and foreign mercenaries to slaughter his own people who dared raise a cry for freedom and social justice?!
And stop mentioning God for your ulterior motives!
Shame on those who defend tyrants and despots the like of Gaddafi!
