Gun salute for the Queen

The Royal Navy frigate HMS Liverpool will fire a 21-gun salute at mid-day on Friday to mark the official birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. 

The Liverpool is currently berthed at Pinto Wharf and leaves on Saturday.

Whats the point of it all then we hear enough fireworks now as it is without adding to the nosie and more still to come.
