The Youth Football Association’s 2010-11 season came to an end with the National Lotteries Good Causes Fund Under-15 and Under-17 KO finals which were played in front of a sizeable crowd at the Luxol St Andrew’s Stadium, on Sunday.

The Under-15 final was a very balanced contest between neighbours St Andrew’s and Melita.

In fact, the winning team was only decided after a penalty shoot-out which the Saints won 6-5. In normal time the score was 1-1.

Robert Arrigo, Parliamentary Assistant in the Ministry of Finance, was among those who distributed trophies to the winners.
