Aġenzija Żgħażagħ recently celebrated European Youth Week together with other EU member states.

European Youth Week encouraged young Europeans to discuss relevant themes and to promote youth achievement in various fields.

This year’s edition also aimed to facilitate structured dialogue to enable young people to influence youth policies and their implementation.

Aġenzija Żgħażagħ collaborated with a number of youth organisations, agencies and departments to organise a variety of activities, including a concert, a forum, exhibitions, intercultural and volunteering experiences and a rock Mass.

A number of activities were held specifically for secondary school students, including information sessions, training, discussions and adventure events.

These activities were also held in view of the European Year of Volunteering and the EU-China Year of Youth 2011.

An intercultural evening was held at Aġenzija Żgħażagħ in St Venera and a Chinese delegation visited Malta as part of the celebrations.
