The Marsa racetrack will host the second Equestrian Festival on Sunday. This will be a celebration of horses and the different equestrian disciplines practised in Malta with the programme including various attractions for all generations, demonstrating the grace, agility and speed of the horse and the skill of the rider.

The programme starts at 7 a.m. with pony races, followed by a traditional horse and animal blessing ceremony. This will be followed by different equestrian sport and a polo match with the Cawnpore Cup at stake.

In the afternoon, the main attraction will be a series of races with the festival coming to an end at around 5.45 p.m.

This equestrian initiative is being organised by Kunsill Malti għall-iSport with the collaboration of the Malta Racing Club, the Malta Equestrian Federation and the Malta Polo Club.
