An 80-year-old man from Ghaxaq was seriously injured in a traffic accident at Dawret Hal-Ghaxaq in Ghaxaq at around noon. He is not in a critical condition.

The police said the man was hit by a Dennis (Javelin), driven by a 33-year-old man from Vittoriosa.
