On arrival at the winery, visitors will be handed a complimentary brochure with three tokens for three free tastings of wine per person.

The brochure will include a detailed site map directing visitors along a wine trail. Visitors will be able to amble freely through Delicata’s winemaking facility. Along the way there will be written explanations, in Maltese and English, describing the transformation that takes place from the Vine to the Wine. The area’s visitors can visit include Delicata’s grape receiving and accreditation bay, the grape pressing facility, red wine tank farm, fermentation halls, filtration unit, bottling hall, bag in box and combibloc production unit, stores, returnable bottle collection point and wine barrel maturation cellars.

Guided tours will also be conducted at set times throughout the day in Maltese and in English.

To enable visitors to receive their three free wine tastings, they will be required to place a €1 deposit on a wine glass which is totally refundable on return of the undamaged glass.

The three free glasses of wine can be taken from any of the wine stands exhibiting over 15 DOK and IGT wines chosen from the Pjazza Reġina , Maltese Falcon, Medina, Frizzante or Grand vin de Hauteville brands of wine. The tokens can also be used to taste wines from selected stainless steel wine vats inside the fermentation hall. No person under the age of 17 will be served alcohol or rented a glass.
