Stress management seminar

A seminar on managing stress, led by strategic coach Claudette Portelli, and aimed at managers, lawyers, accountants, policy makers, and sales teams, will be held next Wednesday.

Organiser W&D Magro, the professional services firm where Ms Portelli is part of the business advisory unit, said the seminar will help participants take charge of stress by guiding them to identify their possible redundant scripts or patterns.

By gathering a better awareness of what they perceive and experience as threatening, participants will learn how to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of their attempts to cope and will understand how to win over even the most ‘merciless’ of their enemies. Ms Portelli is a qualified psychologist, trainer and senior collaborator at the Centro di Terapia Strategica of Arezzo.

The seminar will be held at the Phoenicia Hotel, Floriana, between 5 and 8 p.m. Participation qualifies for Employment and Training Corporation subsidies.
