The Malta i-Gaming Seminar at the Hilton Malta next week is set to be one of the main i-Gaming events of the year, packed with interesting round table discussions, two CEOs from leading companies as keynote speakers, and various networking opportunities.
iGaming veteran and chief technology officer of Bodog, AJ Thompson, will be moderating the event.
On the opening night there will be a ‘delegates only’ free-roll Poker tournament, with the winner taking home a Hublot Wall clock and two Manchester United VIP tickets to a game at Old Trafford next season.
Three runners-up will enjoy a four-hour cruise on a brand new 48-foot Portofino Sunseeker. The event’s second day will see an i-Gaming networking beach party at the Hilton Merkanti Beach Club from 3 p.m. till late.
MIGS 11, on June 9 and 10, is aimed at i-Gaming executives seeking to understand the benefits of setting up in Malta and obtaining a clear picture of the cost implications and the logistics.
One of last year’s keynote speakers, Rafael Arnold, chief executive officer of Netrefer, described the event as “the ideal venue for anyone thinking about relocating to Malta”. He said MIGS is a unique opportunity for anyone seeking to obtain information from top service providers and engage with already established people in the Malta jurisdiction in a matter of only two days.
This year’s agenda will include various Malta success stories including one from Mr Green, being represented by its chief executive officer Mikael Pawlo , a presentation from SEO expert Nick Garner, a round table debate with the participation of representatives from Italy, Spain, Malta and Alderney, a presentation on handling online payments effectively and other discussions featuring high level topics on the EU regulatory landscape and the triangle of trust between gamer, regulator and the operator. Delegates may also indulge in networking during coffee breaks and lunch.
The event is organised by a group of service providers including CSB Group, the legal and tax advisor, BMIT, the co-location company; VacancyCentre.com, the online recruiter; Megabyte, a systems integration specialist company; Greentube, the gaming software platform provider; and RE/MAX Malta, the real estate brand.
