Religion, music teacher named parish priest

Fr Richard Stanley Grech has been appointed parish priest of Sacro Cuor parish in Sliema. He served in the Franciscan community in Rabat before working in Australia.

Back in Malta, he served in Mġarr, Gozo, Valletta and, again, at Rabat.

He was a religious counsellor in state schools and a religion and music teacher in Church schools. Fr Grech was vice parish priest at Sacro Cuor between 2002 and 2005. His last position was that of provincial vicar.
