Woman's corpse found in the sea
A patrol boat of the Armed Forces of Malta has recovered the corpse of a woman found in the sea off Xghajra, Zabbar.
The presence of the body was reported to the police at about 8 a.m.
The body was seen floating near Wied Ghamieq and was taken on boat a patrol boat.
The woman is a 69-year-old from Marsa. She did not appear to have been in the sea for a long time and had no signs of violence.
