Requiem Mass

On the fifth anniversary of the death of JOHN J. GIGLIO, a Mass for the repose of his soul will be celebrated today at 6.45 p.m. at the Jesuits church, Valletta.

In Memoriam

A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said tomorrow at 11.30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy chapel, San Pawl tat-Tarġa. May he rest in peace.

SCHEMBRI – JOSEPH. In loving memory of a dear husband and father on the 23rd anniversary of his demise. His wife, Eric, Maria and their families.

VUKOVIĆ – HILDA. Treasured memories of a special mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was called Home to the Father 11 years ago today. Always remembered with much love by her family.

Fundraising bazaar

The Holy Family Home for the Elderly will be holding a bazaar on June 5 between 9.30 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. at the home’s front garden in Naxxar to raise funds for the refurbishment of the laundry room.

Marian celebration

The Diocesan Committee of Our Lady of Fatima will be holding a Marian celebration at the House for the Clergy, Anġlu Grima Street, Fleur-de-Lys, Birkirkara, on June 4 starting with Mass at 5 p.m.

Round table conference

Four embassies are joining forces with the University’s Mediterranean Institute in a round table conference to mark the 150th anniversary of Italian Unity. The event will take place on June 13 at 6 p.m. at the Aula Magna, University of Malta, St Paul Street, Valletta.

Creativity for children

The Marsascala local council will be holding creative activities for children aged between three and 12 between July and August. For more information contact the local council during office hours.

Blood donation

The mobile blood donation unit will be available in front of Naxxar parish church from 8.30 a.m. till 1 p.m. for blood donation tomorrow. If you feel healthy kindly get your ID card and donate blood.
