Shadows from the past

The latest article by Carmel Baldacchino (May 19) brought back some memories of a great match played at the Manoel Island ground. Just to correct certain inaccuracies, namely: the photo published is the one taken in Athens and not in Manoel Island; please note the turf. Also, Ronnie Cocks made the trip to Athens but did not play as he was still recovering from the burns he sustained during work at Gasan’s garage.
