Greece coach Fernando Santos yesterday named his 20-man squad for a Euro 2012 qualifier at home with Malta (June 4) and a friendly against Ecuador (June 8) in New York.

Santos called up PAOK Salonica striker Stefanos Athanasiadis for the first time and also recalled goalkeepers Stefanos Kotsolis of Panathinaikos and Dimitris Konstantopoulos of Corfu due to injuries to regulars Alexandros Tzorvas (Panathinaikos) and Costas Halkias (PAOK).
Santos also recalled PAOK midfielder Giorgos Fotakis, who returns from injury, and Panathinaikos forward Lazaros Christodoulopoulos in place of injured Celtic striker Giorgos Samaras.
Santos named seven players from Panathinaikos and four from Greek champions Olympiakos Piraeus.
