Husband’s fury at Arnie ‘betrayal’

The estranged husband of the woman said to be the mother of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s out-of-wedlock son says he feels betrayed by the Terminator star and ex-California governor.

In an interview broadcast on the US TV show Entertainment Tonight, Rogelio Baena said he learned last week he was not the boy’s biological father but would always regard him as his own.

The Insider also broadcast a video of Mr Schwarzenegger’s wife Maria Shriver praising Ms Baena at a 2001 celebration for one of Ms Baena’s relatives.

Ms Shriver said she was proud of Ms Baena for being a single, hard-working mother. Mr Schwarzenegger can be heard echoing her praise, saying the housekeeper did “an incredible job”.

Ms Baena has been identified as the mother of Mr Schwarzenegger’s child by The New York Times and other media.
