A woman fills in a kannol (pastry) with a ricotta-based filling at the Irkottafest, held over the weekend in Kirkop. Held in the village’s quaint centre, the activity was centred around food and folklore. Tours to a farm in nearby Għaxaq were organised and goats were brought to the village square, together with a cow-milking simulator.
