Arrested after drug find

A 25-year-old man residing in Mtarfa was arrested yesterday after he was found in possession of sachets containing cocaine, the police said. Acting on a tip-off that he was selling drugs in Rabat, the police stopped him while driving a car.

Acting on a tip-off that he was selling drugs in Rabat, the police stopped him while driving a car. Investigations revealed he had been selling drugs for the past two months, the police said.

The suspect is expected to be charged with possession and trafficking.
