10.30 a.m. The President is presented with a donation in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund (MCCF) by members of the Grand Priory of Malta in the Military and Hospitaller Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem at San Anton Palace, Attard.

11 a.m. He receives Indonesian Ambassador Mohammad Oemar on a farewell call at San Anton Palace.

12.30 p.m. He receives US Ambassador Douglas Kmiec on a farewell call at San Anton Palace.

4 p.m. He is presented with a donation in aid of the MCCF by Voices participants at San Anton Palace.

6.30 p.m. He and Mrs Abela preside over the Ball of the August Moon meeting at San Anton Palace.

Tuesday

9.45 a.m. The President receives Judge Giovanni Bonello, Superintendent of the ‘Proġett tar-Riġenerazzjoni tal-Palazz’ and Mrs Therese Vella at the Palace, Valletta.

10 a.m. Mrs Abela receives the members of ‘Grupp Nisa Miżżewġa Għargħur’ on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace.

10.30 a.m. He receives Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi at the Palace.

11.45 a.m. He is presented with a donation in aid of the MCCF by the committee members of the National Council of Women at the Palace.

Noon Mrs Abela presides over the MCCF Working Committee at San Anton Palace.

7.35 p.m. He attends a reception organised by Enemalta Corporation at Verdala Palace, Rabat.

Wednesday

10.30 a.m. The President receives Head of EU Representation in Malta Martin Bugelli on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace.

1 p.m. He hosts a luncheon in honour of the donors contributing towards the Fine Arts Auction at San Anton Palace.

4 p.m. He receives the Maltese Olympic Committee and the Maltese contingent participating in the Games of Small States in Liechtenstein at San Anton Palace.

Thursday

7 p.m. Mrs Abela inaugurates the exhibition organised in collaboration with Art Club 2000 in aid of the MCCF at San Anton Palace.

Friday

10 a.m. Mrs Abela is presented with a donation in aid of the MCCF by Gu Hongxing, director of the China Cultural Centre, at San Anton Palace.

11.30 a.m. The President receives members of the Malta Photographic Society on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace.

3.30 p.m. He presides over the President’s Forum post-mortem meeting at San Anton Palace.
