Rowing for a good cause

Daniel Abela was recently presented with a bronze award by Beyond the Moon for his endeavour to row single-handedly from Sicily to Malta to raise funds for the Puttinu Children’s Cancer Support Group and Beyond the Moonprogramme.
The challenge, supported by Vodafone Malta Foundation and other entities, raised funds for a holiday at Disneyland Paris for more than 10 families with a child suffering from cancer or another illness.
The award was presented by Beyond the Moon founder and manager Pascale Somers.
