Bankers go ‘beyond the desk’
HSBC employees Bonamy Mercieca and Jonathan Balzan (first and second left) view a collection of cans with Mount Carmel Hospital chairman David Galea, Parliamentary Secretary Mario Galea and HSBC’s head of commercial banking Michel Cordina, who also chairs HSBC’s Sport and Social Activities Committee. ‘Beyond the desk’, an event with over 30 exhibits showcasing the talents and hobbies of HSBC staff, was held recently at Mount Carmel’s Speranza Hall. Displays included scale models, paintings, jewellery, photography and classic cars.
