Voters registered in Malta who have not yet collected their voting document may do so from the Electoral Office at Evans Building in Valletta between next Monday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. or on Thursday between 8 a.m. and midnight, the Electoral Commission said.
Those registered in Gozo may collect their document on the same days and times from the Identity Card Office at 28A, St Francis Square, Victoria.
ID cards have to be presented.
VOTERS UNABLE TO WAIT IN QUEUE
The Commission also said that on the day of the poll:
* Persons who are over 70 years and stretcher cases from hospitals and other old peoples' institutions, shall be allowed to avoid queuing at all times during the poll without the need of a medical certificate.
* Those who present the KartAnzjan but are not yet 70, shall be allowed to pass the queue from 1 to 5 p.m.
* The sick and those unable to wait in the queue should go to vote after 1 p.m. and present a medical certificate.
* Those presenting a special identity card issued by the National Commission Persons with a Disability would be given the same facility without the need of a medical certificate.
* 10 voters who did not need assistance would be allowed in the polling room to vote following each voter requesting assistance to vote.
The commission said medical officers may apply for official formsto serve as a medical certificate for sick persons to be allowed to pass the queue during the hours specified.
