The final version of the Air Malta restructuring plan presented to the European Commission late on Monday was not discussed by the steering committee set up for the purpose, the Labour Party said today.

It said the last meeting of the committee was held more than a month ago.

This confirmed, the party said, that the government was using the steering committee as a screen and was not interested in genuine consultation within it.
