10.30 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from members of the Friends of the Manoel at San Anton Palace, Attard.

11 30 a.m. He receives a courtesy call from lecturers, physical education students and non-academic staff of the Institute of Physical Education and Sport at the University of Malta at San Anton Palace.

5 p.m. He presides over a meeting of the Commission for the Administration of Justice at the Palace, Valletta.

Tuesday

10.30 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from the council members of the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector at San Anton Palace.

11.30 a.m. He is presented with three publications entitled Reflections on life, To Light and Inspire and Antique Collecting in Malta by Kevin Casha at San Anton Palace.

Noon Mrs Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund working committee at San Anton Palace.

4.30 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from Glenn Vella at San Anton Palace.

Wednesday

11 a.m. The President is presented with a bronze sculpture by Robert Hornyold-Strickland as a donation for the Fine Arts Auction at San Anton Palace.

7 p.m. He receives the members of the Maltese Associationof the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta and participants of the last pilgrimage to Lourdes at San Anton Palace.

Thursday

10 a.m. The President is presented with Letters of Commission by Trevor Donald Matheson, High Commissioner of New Zealand, at the Palace.

11 a.m. He is presented with Letters of Commission by Roy Warren Blackbeard, High Commissioner of Botswana, at the Palace.

1.30 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela host a luncheon in honour of the newly accredited High Commissioners of New Zealand and Botswana at San Anton Palace.

7.15 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend a reception hosted by Israeli Ambassador Oren David on the National Day of Israel at Hilton Malta, St Julian’s.

Friday

10 30 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from Michel de Rose, board member and chief executive officer of Eutelsat, Arduino Patacchini, director of multimedia and value added services at Eutelsat and board member of WINS Ltd, and Tony Meilak, chairman of WINS Ltd, at San Anton Palace.

11.30 a.m. Mrs Abela visitsthe Jean Antide Foundation in Tarxien.
